Year 6 Students
Every year during Y7 selected pupils have the opportunity to work with the famous and exhilarating Sheffield Sharks BasketBall team. Pupils are carefully selected by their Progress Manager and Pastoral Support Coordinator.
The project is called “Playing for Success” and the aim of the programme is to provide an out of school hours initiative aimed at raising standards in literacy, numeracy, ICT and increasing self esteem in young people through the medium of sport. The sessions use state of the art IT equipment and the latest games consoles to provide health, literacy and numeracy challenges.
