Key Dates for Transition to Secondary School – September 2010 

 

 

New Intake Evening – Monday 28th June

 

This event runs from 7pm onwards. It is an opportunity for students and their parents/carers to meet The City School staff and ask them any questions that they have about transfer. Representatives from Pinders schoolwear will also be present from 6pm, so you will be able to purchase or order new school uniform. You will probably have been given several forms to complete, so please bring your completed forms with you to the New Intake Evening.

 

New Intake Day – Tuesday 29th June

 

This is the day that your child will spend a day at The City School. The day begins at 9.50am (meeting in the Hall) and will finish at 2.55pm. Year 6′s will get to meet other students who will be in their personal tutor group next year. They will also get to experience a few lessons and chat with our current Year 7 students who went through the same experience this time last year. Year 6′s should arrive wearing their current primary school uniform.

 

New School Year – Thursday 2nd September

 

Our new Year 7′s should arrive in school at 8.40am and go to the main school hall for assembly.
